Had a Brilliant night last Saturday at Limehouse Lizzy gig. Absolutely Awesome !!
I’ve been to a few gigs there and have never been dissappointed. The beer’s not bad either !!
I came to your club last night to see My Generation. First time visit to the club, (not first time seeing My Generation).. What a great gig though. The band played really well, the crowd there were lovely, all wanting to get involved in the gig. A brilliant atmosphere, and a Thank you to the staff at the venue too for being so welcoming.
We had a brilliant LIVE Band on in the Lounge Sat just gone. Mick Ridgeway’s Mojo Hand a Rythm and Blues band.
Up tempo, not the slow dowdy Blues stuff. Bow Didley (spelt wrong no doubt) Stones stuff Roxy Music and alot of older stuff, but made a great change. Fantastic musicians, not young but can play realy well. Nice blokes.
I’ll have to get them back again. I’m trying to get more LIVE bands in the lounge on a Sat night. Not the big (expensive ones we have in the concert room) but local and good. I have a few lined up at the moment.
Adm free.
Cheers mike and Tracey the only 2 that know about this board….Jim…………..
I only just found the comments section. I was at Complete Madness too and what a night. A packed hall of sweaty fat bald men dancing like loons. It just doesn’t get any better than that! It’s been a long time since I’ve left a gig totally knackered and dripping with sweat but it was being nieteen again. The SSSC has Tardis like abilities!
Great band, great club and great people.
Thanks to Jim for bringing such a great band to the club. Best night out in an age.
The Buntin does it again! A prime slice of high voltage rock and roll was served up at SSSC again last night. Hell’s Bells were simply superb. Missed ‘em last time they came and was knocked out by their performance, energy and accuracy last night. These guys ranked right up there with Complete Madness in the best night out at SSSC stakes.
Once again, many thanks to Jim for bringing entertainment like this to us in rural Leicestershire and the effort he puts in. I know Mentallica were on down the road but I think we got the better deal. Greeat venue, great crowd, great band, great night. What more do you need?
Hells Bells !! What a brilliant night, Awsome guitarist ! This was my first gig at your club, but certainly not my last.
A brilliant atmosphere and were made very welcome by Richard and Colleagues.
See you again soon
Rob
